It's good, I'm not denying, but it would look better without that background there, and the pose is a little generic, looks like he just fired up wowmodelviewer and drew over that, whicch I guess there is nothing wrong with, but eh, it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. I would prefer an action shot, some perspective in it.

I felt a little bit like that as well. Would've been far more awesome (Although a crap load of work) if the background was drawn as well in the similar way as the character, somehow this feels a bit rushed overall. I don't know.

I'd like to see that one. The somewhat bad quality and little bit pixelated feel of the background just ruin the fantastic drawing. /nod
